Perry
Ashley - One
of the more promising young country artists in Nashville today.
Perry
is new country singer
from down Florida way, who remembers back
to when he was an eight year old with five dollars in his
pocket.
He made a decision then that would change his life forever.
One
day at a yard sale Perry laid his eyes on an old guitar with $5.00
marked on it. Being a youthful businessman Perry offered to
take
it of their hands for $3.00. After pausing to think it over, she nodded
her approval. Perry gave her a big smile and off he went with
the feeling he made a great purchase. Unknowingly this "yard
sale" lady had set Parry Ashley on a course that would eventually lead
him to Nashville.
Perry Ashley's show is one of constant movement and a great combination
of classic country and the best of today's new country sounds.... You
won't want to miss an opportunity to catch this talented artist.
Razzy Bailey -
Not much needs said
about this legendary showman and singer / songwriter, but we'll say it
anyway. Razzy Bailey has been one of the most
consistent
entertainers for years developing a following of all age
groups.
Still an audience favorite where ever he performs. Razzy
knows
how to get the job done and just keeps on giving us wonderful memories.
Among
the career milestones that Razzy considers his most memorable, is the
day when three major labels offered him recording deals within a twenty
minute period of time!
Although
he would later sign with MCA, he chose to call RCA his Music Row home.
RCA was then the home for two of his heroes, Jimmie Rodgers and Waylon
Jennings. Razzy stayed with RCA for six years. For a historic
four months, Razzy's top #10 hit "What Time Do You Have to Be Back in
Heaven" stayed on the charts. This was followed up with "Tonight She's
Gonna Love Me (Like There's No Tomorrow)," again a top #10 smash.
History was being made. Two more top #10's followed: "If Love Had a
Face," and "I Ain't Got No Business Doin' Business Today," but they
were outdone by his top #5, "I Can't Get Enough of You."
This
living legend is still adding to the pages of music history, with great
recordings, wonderful performances, and also by offering a helping hand
to upcoming young artists. No legends show is truly
complete without Razzy Bailey.
