farm upbringing brings a classic country music vocal styling to
one finest country artist we have ever worked with..... Gary Lear.
The more you get to know Gary the more you will see that the cowboy
image is the real deal, not just a get-up. He rides, ropes, hunts and
also works construction. A true outdoors man that happens to
sing
rather well.
Gary was raised on a farm just outside the small town of Harrisburg,
Missouri. The first fans he ever sang to was the hogs... "Hey, they never Booed"
"Singing was
always a form of entertaining myself, at the time I never thought
anyone else would be entertained by it."
For Gary, being on stage the first time was a little intense to say the
least. When he finished singing the crowd cheered. "It was one of the best feelings
I have ever experienced" He knew then that he wanted to
pursue a career in music.
"Life is too
short, and I didn't want to leave this world without at least trying my
hand at entertaining."
Gary's career took after he was once again a finalist in the Colgate Country Showdown
at the Montrose Country Fair in Montrose, CO having also been a
finalist in 2006 and 2007. "The Showdown has been a fun event to be
involved with and another great chance to sing."
 In
August of 2008
Gary joined the family at Unicorn Artist Management and is just about
to release his debut album "All Pure Country" on Lariat Records.
"I have been
a fan of
Country Music all my life, and now I get to go out and perform for
folks all over the country. I feel very blessed to have the
opportunity to be an active participant in the business of
country music"
