Texas Style, then your in for a treat with Kenny Harrell.
Born in
the small Texas
town of Cameron, Kenny
Harrell knew at an early age that he was
destined to play music. He can recall strumming on a cheap plastic
guitar that
his parents gave him. “My Dad loved Hee Haw, and I
would strum
along with Roy and Buck
on every show.” He was hooked from that
moment on. When
Kenny was 13 his folks gave him a real
guitar and his path seemed set.
Like many young men though Kenny decided to get married
and settle
down. For several years the stage and bright lights turned to days and
nights
in a factory. “I tried to turn my back on music and
walk away, but it never left me,
in my heart I knew what I should be doing, and was just playing at
everything
else.”
The nine
to five grind,
skinned knuckles and banged knees finally convinced Kenny to return to
the
stage. He recorded
his first album
titled “Forever in Love” No doubt about it; the
album is straight up country, Texas style.
Kenny says “I
had to do this
album. For me,
these songs are chapters
in my life that I had to release so I could move on to the next chapter. It’s amazing how
a song can do that.”
 Kenny Harrell may seem a
little quiet and shy when you first meet him,
but when the stage lights come on, and the band strikes up Kenny
Harrell is on!
Moving smoothly from traditional country, to Texas Swing, from love
ballads to
red dirt, Kenny Harrell’s show covers as much territory as
the state he hails
from
Kenny’s
shows
are up close and personal. He
knows how
to have a good time on stage and brings the audience along with him. You’ll leave
with the feeling that you know
him personally and that you darn sure got your money’s worth.

whether you’re looking for love, wanting to
drown in tears and beers, in the mood to dance all night, or just kick
back and
enjoy some tunes. You’ll
